In the clients brief they have promotional video
that is implicit. The last between 20 and 40 seconds which is open to
interpretation they also have ready for the launch of the new range in five weeks’
time this is being very explicit directing how much time they have to create
the video. They also have it to be aimed at an audience of between the ages of
8 and 14, this is to be open for interpretation.

The issues that can would be foreseen when
creating this video would be short length of time being 5 weeks and being too
short. Meaning the production only being 4 weeks as testing required. Also filming
outside with the weather conditions. Lastly getting child actors.

The legal issues that would need to be addressed
would be a release form this can’t use children without this legally and this
is key to the project. They also would have a contract but unless theses are
signed children can’t work at all, once working hours are agreed rest of the
project needs to work around this. Location release form if they are in a
public area, council permission generally needed, if private then the owner
must sign the release form. Then lastly
copyrights must be requested for use in the advert, otherwise the advert may be
pulled after its release.
