What certificate was GOT given? : They are going through 3 of the episodes.
The red wedding: This episode is rated 15 for bloody violence. So in this episodes the Starks are going in for a wedding but end up all getting killed with a lot of bloody violence. But right at the start one of the characters that was pregnant was stabbed several times in the stomach but then the camera focuses on the characters reaction. In the BBFC guidelines they say that you should not dwell on inflation of pain and injury as of this they withheld some of the stronger gory images this was of the reason as to why it was rated 15.

The mountain VS the viper: This is a battle scene. Oberon slices the mountains leg with a blood spurt. Then the mountain falls on to his back so then Oberon jumps to stab him in the chest with his spear making a large blood spray from his mouth. The mountain grabs Oberon’s neck putting him to the floor to then sticking his fingers in Oberon’s eyes he then screams in agony his head then explodes with a large amount of blood. This was rated 18 for the strong and gory content in the episode.


The Battles of the snows: John snow vs Ramsey Bolton. In this episodes has a very different feel to normal episodes as in the battle it has a realistic but the violence’s was too graphic to keep it at 15 and made it 18. Lots of sits of gory images in the episodes.

District 9   District 9 was campaigned in 2008 in San Diego comic con. With August 14 2009, in North America they earned over $210milllion on box office.  At the start Neill Blomkamp started to film ‘Halo’ they said they worked on it for 3 or 4 months but then the movie died. He then made lots of shorts of Halo and a lot of the things used in those shorts can be seen in District 9  Scene from Neill Blomkamp short film 'Halo' “We financed the development of it for the first six months independently… We wrote a screenplay that was more of a treatment than a screen play.
