Notes on low budget film making

Notes on Low budget film making
Resource filmmaking- start recourse and then start filming.
List locations, list of actors, list of equipment’s, interesting items (for props),
Wring the script- keep location small and small traveling. Small amount of characters, write to your actors strengths. Avoid scenes with extras. Avoid night scenes. Less special effects, Use festivals and things for crowd scenes.
Pre- production location scout (to find were to go and what time to get there) try to understand the times of the actors your using and the what items .
Don’t move the camera around too much, use magic hour (this will be very help full better lighting)
Post production – will take longer by yourself but will cost a lot less, Avoid using copyright music. Allow the budget to be part of you.
A lot of planning and lots of self-teaching to make a film.

  1. Great! Remember to watch the video again for revision, try to explain how budget might influence pre-production.
